How to Add and Edit Content within Text Boxes
The rich text editor can be found on any page type as well as within the text module on the homepage. You can use it to add text, hyperlinks, images, videos and documents to your website!
Components of the Rich Text Editor
The Rich Text Editor includes a variety of tools to help you customize your page content. Use the screenshot below to locate each feature, and refer to the descriptions to learn how they work.
Font Size and Color
- Size: choose from font sizes ranging from 14 to 96.
- Color: select a preset color or enter a custom hex code
Text Formatting
- Styling: use bold, italics or underlines to emphasize important text. You can also apply a background color to highlight content
- Headers: choose from Heading 1 through Heading 4 to organize your content
- Format Clearing: remove unwanted formatting caused by copying and pasting text.
Paragraph Options
- Alignment: align text to the left, center or right
- Lists: organize information using bullet points or numbered lists for improved readability.
Images, Videos and Documents
- Hyperlinks: link text to other pages on your website or to external sources.
- Images: add images directly to your page.
- Videos: embed YouTube or Vimeo videos.
- Documents: add downloadable files so visitors can access important information.
Miscellaneous:
- Emojis: enhance your content with a variety of emojis.
- Line Edits: adjust line spacing and insert section breaks to improve layout and readability.
