How to Change Settings Within Your Stripe Account

When you first connect your bank account to Stripe, you'll be required to enter in information about your organization. There may be times that you need to make changes so our team has compiled commonly used links for you to use to update your Stripe Settings. You'll just need to make sure you're logged into your Stripe account in order for the below links to work:

Change Payout Settings

By default, your payout settings are set to Daily which means you'll receive your payouts every 1-2 business days. Stripe also allows for payouts to arrive on a weekly, monthly or manual payout schedule. Click here to update your payout frequency > dashboard.stripe.com/account/payouts

Change Business Type

Stripe has three options for type of business when setting up an account. They are: Nonprofit Organization, Company and Individual. The first two options require that you've registered with the IRS and have a nine digit EIN (Employer Identification Number). If that doesn't apply to your organization, you'll need to switch to an individual account. You can make any changes here > dashboard.stripe.com/settings/taxation

Change Website Address

Stripe will occasionally run checks on your account to ensure it remains in good standing. One way to avoid issues is to make sure your Jersey Watch website is properly linked to your Stripe account. We also recommend updating it on your public details page as well > dashboard.stripe.com/settings/public
