How to Edit Your Generated Schedule

Once you complete the initial steps to generate a schedule, you'll be taken to a page called "Edit Draft Season". On this page, you can make changes to the components that determine which individual games are generated in the next step.

✏️ EDIT DRAFT SEASON DETAILS:

Manage Locations

You can edit existing locations or add new ones at this step. Common changes include adding additional fields or courts to an existing location, creating a brand-new location, or removing one that is no longer used.

Manage Blackout Days

A blackout date is a day that will not be used when scheduling games. These dates often include federal holidays, school breaks such as spring break, or other days when coaches or facilities are unavailable. You can apply a blackout date to selected divisions or to all divisions.

Manage Individual Division Details

Each division has its own section where you can make edits. Here, you can edit:

🏆 The division name and start date

#️⃣ The number and names of each team

🗓️ How many games are played per season and per week

⏲️ The length of time each game is played for and time between games

📍 The available game days, times and associated locations

✅ Once your division details are confirmed, click Generate Schedule. Next, you'll be taken to a new page where you can make any needed updates to individual games.

✏️ EDIT INDIVIDUAL GENERATED GAMES

The individual games on this page were created from the data input on the previous page. Now, you can view, add and edit the individual games that make up your full schedule.

Add a New Event

To add a new event, click + Add Event at the top of the page or within a specific week. You will select the division, date, time, teams, and location. At this step, the system will automatically check for any scheduling conflicts.

Remove a Generated Event

To remove an event, click the event line item and select Delete Event. After confirming, the event will be removed from the schedule.

Edit a Generated Event

To make changes to an existing event, click the event line item. From there, you can update the date, time, team assignments, and location. The system will check for conflicts before saving your changes.

✅ Once all individual games look correct, click Publish Schedule, then select Publish. After publishing, all games appear on your website's event page (www.yourdomain.com/events).
