Stripe Payout Schedule
Once you’ve received your first payment (through registration or a donation), your initial payout will be on the way. Please note: there is a 5–10 business day waiting period before your first payout is deposited into your bank account.
This delay is standard and required by Stripe as part of their risk mitigation and verification process. For most organizations, the waiting period is typically around 7 days.
If it has been longer than expected, here are a few common reasons:
Reason #1: Your payout schedule is set to manual
By default, payouts are set to either daily or manual, depending on the type of business selected during the initial set up. If your account is set to Manual, payouts must be initiated manually before funds are sent to your bank.
To check or update your payout schedule:
1. Visit dashboard.stripe.com/account/payouts
2. Locate Payout schedule
3. Choose between Manual, Daily, Weekly or Monthly payouts

Reason #2: Your account has payout restrictions
Stripe may require additional information to verify your account before releasing funds. If your account is restricted:
1. The Account Owner will receive an email from Stripe outlining what information is needed
2. You can also check your status here: dashboard.stripe.com/account/status
