How to Set-up Multi-Registrant Discounts

Multi-registrant discounts are a great way to keep costs down for families who register multiple athletes. The discount is automatically applied to the registrant as long as the same account is used each time.

This guide covers how to set up new discounts, link existing ones and provides tips for managing discounts at your organization.

How to Set-Up New Multi-Registrant Discounts

Our quick two-minute video walks you through how to create a new multi-registrant discount:

Many organizations will provide the same discount for families registering more than one athlete, even if it's for another sport or age group. If you have already created a multi-registrant discount and need to attach it to a new program, follow these steps.

  1. Create a new program and complete the Step 1
  2. On Step 2, toggle on the Multi-Registrant Discount option
  3. Select an existing discount group
  4. Click Save

In the below example, a parent who registers a child for 2026 Baseball would also get a discount if they then registered another child for 2026 Softball.

How to Tell if a Program Has a Discount

You can quickly see which programs have a multi-registrant discount by going to your Programs Page. Once there, look for the orange price tag icon. When you hover over the icon, you'll see all of the programs that the discount applies to!

Reminders and Best Practices

Tip #1: Make Sure Your Discount Programs are Properly Named

Including details such as year, season and sport will prevent you from using outdated or incorrect discount groups.

Tip #2: Understand Linked Programs and Their Impact

You can choose to link multiple registration programs to the same discount. This means that the registrant will receive the discounted amount for any of the programs listed below no matter what order they register in.

Tip #3: Communicate Discounts to Parents

Discounts only apply when parents register athletes using the same account. Make sure to clearly tell families to log in with the same email they used previously in order to receive the discount.

Tip #4: Be Cautious When Using Old Discounts

The “Old Discount Groups” section contains discounts tied to programs that have already closed. If you don’t want past registrants to receive a discount for a new program, create a new discount group instead of reusing an old one.
