Why Does My Account Show as "In Progress"?

If your background checks account is showing as "In Progress," it means your account is not yet fully active and you won’t be able to invite candidates until the issue is resolved. This status typically appears during the initial account setup or if there’s an issue that needs to be addressed. Below are the two most common reasons for the "In Progress" message and how to resolve them:

Reason #1: Your Application is Under Review

This applies to organizations that have never been credentialed (approved) for a Yardstik account.

If you’ve submitted your application and signed the required documents, sit tight - our team is reviewing it! All applications are typically reviewed within 1 to 3 business days of submission. If it has been longer than three business days and you haven't heard from us, you can reach out at help@jerseywatch.com so we can check on the status for you.

Reason #2: You Have an Overdue Payment

If your account was previously active and you are now seeing the "In Progress" status, it may indicate an unpaid invoice. To confirm your account status and resolve any billing issues, please contact Yardstik directly at support@yardstik.com.
