How to Add a Video to Your Website

Videos are a great way to customize your website's design while giving viewers an engaging way to learn more about your organization. You can add a video to your homepage or any page type that has the rich text editor, including staff, roster, or custom pages.

How to Add a Video Link

Before you can upload your video link to your homepage or webpage, make sure to post it to either YouTube or Vimeo. Our system will only accept links from these two sources. If you have a video on another platform like Facebook, look to the steps on how to embed a video.

Once the video is uploaded, open the rich text editor and click the video icon button. From there, paste in the direct link to your YouTube or Vimeo video.

How to Embed a Video via Code

You can also embed a video using the rich text editor through the Code View. This is a good option if you want to customize the size of the video or your video comes from another platform like Facebook or Instagram.

To get to the Code View option, click the three dots in the rich text editor and choose the <> icon:

Most platforms will have an embed code option. For example, on YouTube, you can right-click the video to access the code:

How to Embed YouTube Shorts

YouTube Shorts can only be added to the website through the Code View. To get to this option, click the three dots in the rich text editor and choose the <> icon:

For YouTube Shorts, you can get the embed code from the video itself by right-clicking on it and then choosing "Copy embed code".
