How to Add and Edit Homepage Modules
Modules are a great way to customize your homepage. With a variety of modules to choose from, you can easily organize and showcase important information. You can use them to add photo albums, videos, event countdowns, and more to your website!
Before you begin, make sure you're in Edit Mode:
How to Modify Existing Modules
All existing modules on your homepage can be moved, edited and removed.
How to Move a Module
If you'd like to move a module to a different position on your homepage, simply click and drag the four dots in the top-left corner of the module. You can also click the Phone Icon at the top of your website to rearrange the mobile-view of your modules.
How to Edit a Module
All modules can be edited by clicking on the Settings Wheel icon on each. Depending on the module, the modifications you can make will vary. For example, on the Slideshow Module you can change the speed of the slides. On the Donation Module, you can change the dollar amounts.
How to Remove a Module
To delete an existing module, click on the trash icon in the top-right corner. When you delete a module, the content will still remain. The only exception is the Text Module. When you delete that module, the content within it will be deleted too.
How to Add New Homepage Modules
There are two ways that you can add new modules to your homepage. The first is to scroll to the bottom of your homepage and click on +Add Module:
The second way is to hover your mouse between two modules and click the white plus button. This will bring open the drawer where you can select from the list of modules.
From there, click on the module you'd like to add.
Types of Modules
Each module type serves a specific purpose to enhance your homepage. The options include:
- Text: Use the rich text editor to add text, images, videos and more
- Documents: Upload and share documents for your members to download
- Photo Albums: Upload and manage photos and create albums
- Countdown: Display a countdown to a specific date and time
- Weather: Display weather conditions for a specific location
- Field Statuses: Display whether facilities are open or closed
- Slideshow: Upload and manage slideshow images
- 'Subscribe to Updates' Form: Collects contact information so you can users messages
- Announcements: Display important announcements on your homepage
- Donation: Customize dollar amounts to collect one-time donations
- Upcoming Events: Displays a list of upcoming events
- 'Contact Us' Form: Create a contact form that visitors can fill out to send you an email
